On the face of it, this would appear a straight-forward build, but things aren’t always as they initially seem.

Once Eagle had acquired all the required Planning Permissions and completed Building Regulations, works started. Demolition soon exposed a very poor standard of existing construction, that would fall way short of modern building techniques.

Some rapid redesigning and respecifying kept the project on track, and in less than a year from start to finish, this family moved into an extended, reconfigured and totally renovated family home.

Once completed, it raised the bar and property prices on the whole estate, and is a textbook transformation of a 20th century house into a fabulous 21st century modern and future-proofed home.

The Velux Cabrio roof lights flood the master suite with light, and this sense of space and light carries down through the stairwell mezzanine.
