This is a prime example of lateral thinking, to really effectively increase habitable living spaces, allowing a home to deliver the requirements of a growing family.
It’s the ultimate solution to the Buy vs Build conundrum.
Value-for-money was key, so the costs for the build were kept firmly under control, to allow enough budget to be available for the comprehensive fitting-out, which included a kitchen, bathroom, loft suite and renovation/redecoration.
One problem to overcome was the substantial height differential at the rear, so we designed and built a rear terrace to overcome this, and it provides the perfect entertaining space right by the kitchen doors.
